So if you haven’t guessed it yet, I am Matt. A landscape, woodland and wildlife photographer based in the South East of England, but originally from God’s country in the North East. I have been in love with photography for as long as I can remember and actively out with a camera for about two decades now (sadly I am no spring chicken anymore).

Coming from the corporate world, I have a background in training, coaching and mentoring, which I wanted to combine with my love of photography. For me it is all about helping people achieve their goals and putting a smile on their face whilst doing so.

I have lots of interests when it comes to photography, from architecture, to black and white, to lifestyle, don’t forget macros and abstract, but by far my biggest interest is in landscape photography.

So why landscapes?

I think for me it is the diversity within the locations then add to that how the exact same location can change morning to night then season to season. There is always an opportunity to grab a stunning photo.

The other big thing for me is being out in nature. I think this is great for both physical and mental wellbeing, and yes even on those bad weather days.
